how do I play music on an Android phone?
I have a galaxy s4.
I bought a digital album and downloaded it to my PC. I tried to drag and drop it into my phone/music folder but nothing happens.
I then tried the direct route, by downloading to my Android. It comes in a zip file, so I had to download an unzip app. I unzipped it and now can play it, but it's not in my phone/music folder. So then I see I'm supposed to download a Files app so I can find the file and move it. And then I'm supposed to download a Media Scan app to rescan my media files to the music shows up in my music apps. And then I'm supposed to be able to play it...
Is that right? I have to go through all these steps to play music on a phone? It seems so cumbersome. Why isn't the drag and drop working in the first step? Is there any simpler way to move the unzipped music files on my phone into the music folder so they show up when I use a music playing device like Google play?
